Dependent Care and Worklife Programs

WORKlife Programs offers information, consultation, and referral for childcare and elder / adult dependent care for employees. Other services and programs are offered assisting with issues on blending personal and work life.

Dependent Care Voucher Program

This program will pay eligible faculty and staff up to $5,000 per year to help cover dependent care expenses. The program covers both children under the age of 6 and dependent adults. To be eligible, an individual must be a full or part-time fully-benefited employee with a total net family income of less than $50,000. Temporary, limited and casual employees and students are not eligible for the voucher program.

The funds may be used to pay for care at any licensed care facility, including the Johns Hopkins Family Center. Once a faculty or staff member has been approved, funds will be renewed yearly based on continued eligibility.
