Short-Term Disability

Short-Term Disability coverage is optional and fully paid for by you. The plan will pay 60% of your weekly earnings, not to exceed $1,000 per week for an eligible absence. You may elect or change your coverage every year during annual enrollment.

In order to receive benefits, you must be absent from work for 14 consecutive days due to an illness or injury. If you are still not at work on the 15th day, Short-Term Disability benefits may begin.
