Long-Term Disability

This benefit is provided at no cost to eligible JHU employees. The plan will pay 60% of your monthly earnings, not to exceed $10,000 per month for an eligible absence. You do not need to enroll for this coverage - it is automatically provided to eligible employees on the first day of the month following one year of full-time JHU service.

Plan benefits may be paid after you have been unable to work for 90 days or when Short-Term Disability coverage expires, whichever occurs later.
